Charnwood Pre-school & Out of School Club

Charnwood Pre-school and Out of School Club is an extension of our flagship nursery on Lonsdale Rd, Thurmaston.

The pre-school welcomes children from the ages of 2-4 years old, offering funded, term-time only spaces. Children can access both the 15 or 30 hour funding offer. The pre-school is staffed by committed and qualified early years educators who will prepare your child for school through a variety of fun and stimulating experiences and activities.

The out of school club offers before, after school and holiday care for children aged 4-11 years old. We follow the principles of Playwork, recognising that all children have the need to play, to choose their play freely, be personally directed and intrinsically motivated. The role of the Playworker is to facilitate children in their play, learning and development. The children have access to a breadth of play and sport experiences whilst they are with us.
