Welcome to Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Thurmaston

Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school is a privately run day nursery in Thurmaston, which was established in 1999. We are registered for 115 children aged 0-4 years. 

We were awarded an ‘Outstanding’ grade by Ofsted in our most recent inspection. 

Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school is open for 51 weeks per year, Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 6.00pm (excluding bank holidays).

We pursue excellence in all areas of early years education, placing a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and Forest School Education. Children enjoy many learning opportunities and experiences in the wider community.
